An incoming phone call in 1992 changed an industry. In the fall of 1992, we received a call inquiring if our decals would stick to freshly painted railroad cars, we, of course replied "yes"! That call changed it all and we began selling decals to the railroads, owner’s, builder’s and repair locations under the brand RailDecals.com.
In 2000, we finalized our website to process the orders. Authorized users can login and order a variety of full and/or partial carsets of decals for any car type. This 24/7 online ordering system improves accuracy, expedites customer’s orders and allows customers to track the status of pending orders. Users can easily clone existing orders and change any necessary information. This automated process has allowed us to ship same day orders to many customers. Since the inception, we have processed thousands of online orders.
Today, due to the high demand, we are incorporating the ability for our customers to order additional “stock” decals, signs and application aids in a shopping cart format.
